LC brightened the lives of everyone he met. He was kind, generous, funny and smart. Everybody knew him and everybody loved him. He was a free spirit - he was happy and he loved life. You'd see him anywhere that was wholesome - ballgames, country fairs or delivering his homegrown vegetables for miles around. LC liked simple things but could understand complex things and explain them in a simple way - he had the gift of teaching. We will miss him so much. He's the kind of treasure that comes into your life once. My family and I were so blessed to have known him. We extend heartfelt sympathy to LC's family and pray that the Lord will comfort you in the loss of this precious person.

Mr. LC was a very special person. I met him many years ago at a horse show in Americus and that led to a lasting friendship. We met several times over the years at shows and then when my daughter, Brandy Conner, became a softball coach, there he was. He was the most supportive fan of the Schley County Wildcat Softball Team. We all loved this wonderful man. We will surely miss his smiling face.

Mr. LC was one of the sweetest, most generous men I knew. He brought my softball players blow pops to practice and games. The girls adored him. At the end of our seasons, he would pay for a steak supper for the team and their families. He did these things for the nine years that I was the coach at Schley County. I enjoyed the many conversations we had about softball, basketball, gardening, teaching, and many, many other topics. He was truly a special soul. He will always hold a special place in my heart for the many kind things that he gave to unselfishly. My prayers are with the family during this time.
