Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Michael Herrington, age 64, who passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Lumber City Health and Rehab. Mr. Herrington was a lifetime resident of Appling County and a member of Zoar Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a former employee with Hazlehurst Mills and a truck driver with Nail AG Enterprises.
Mr. Herrington is preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Johnson Herrington.
Surviving is his father, Russell Herrington of Baxley; three daughters, Cheryl Herrington of Atlanta, Brandy (John) Brantley of Baxley, and Jody Herrington of Valdosta; eleven grandchildren; one sister, Jane (Danny) Causey of Baxley; two nieces, Janda (Sims) Turner and April (Scottie) Poppell also survive.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Nail officiating.
Interment will follow in the Zoar Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.
Active Pallbearers are Jeff Herrrington, John Brantley, Reggie Wooten, Billy Coleman, Billy Butler, and Bruce Igou.
