George T. Vaughn

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral services for Mr. George T. Vaughn, age 61, who passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at his son’s residence in Blackshear, Ga. Mr. Vaughn was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County, a retired millwright and attended Baxley Church of God.

Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by his parents; Artis and Jessie Mae Vaughn, and two sisters; Sherry Vaughn, and Julie Carter.

Surviving is his son; Shannon and Gladys Vaughn of Blackshear, four grandchildren; Kaityln Vaughn, Tyler Vaughn, McKayla Robertson, and Brianna Spicer; two great grandchildren, Blakelyn Robertson and Emery Spicer; brother, Miles and Gina Vaughn of Baxley; sister, Brenda and David Gruber of Baxley.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 13, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Neil Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in the Friendship Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Friday.

Active Pallbearers will be Tyler Vaughn, Chancey Vaughn, Chase Vaughn, Brandon Spicer, David Gruber, and Brian Carter.

All attendees are asked to follow COVID-19 guidelines.
