Earnest O. Dyal

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral services for Reverend Earnest O. Dyal, age 76, who passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Appling Healthcare.  He was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County.  Reverend Dyal was the minister of Ferry Road Baptist Church and the owner of Dyal Concrete.  He became an ordained minister in 1964 and received his Doctorate of Divinity in 1974.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Timothy Dyal and David Dyal; parents, Oran and Maggie Courson Dyal and two brothers, James Dyal and Wayne Dyal.

Survivors include his children, Deborah S. Dyal of Baxley, Sandra Long of Baxley, Tina Carter and husband Keith of Hazlehurst and Samuel Dyal and wife Kay of Baxley; five grandchildren, Summer Ryals, Mendy Stephens, Kassie Sapp, Levi Dyal and Grace Dyal; five great grandchildren, Trey Ryals, Loree Kay Stephens, Caroline Stephens, Eve Ryals and Noah Ryals; brother, Albert Dyal and five nieces, Phelisha Williams, April Duncan, Selena Dyal, Krystal Heider and Kerry Thacker.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 11am at Ferry Road Baptist Church with the Reverend M.L. Riggs and Reverend Mark Deckard officiating.

Reverend Dyal will lie instate one hour prior to funeral services at the church.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Active Pallbearers will be Nathan Dyal, Lee Dyal, Jamie Dyal, Jordan Dyal, Jeremy Dyal and Cameron Dyal.

Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Ferry Road Baptist Church and all friends in attendance.

The family will assemble at the home of Reverend Dyal at 2130 Azalea Rd.
