David Moore

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. David Joseph Moore, age 65, who passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at his residence under the care of Serenity Hospice. Mr. Moore was a native of Joliet, IL, a resident of Hazlehurst for thirty-five years and a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired postal service employee.

Mr. Moore is preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Wathena Reeves Moore and a brother, Robert Moore.

Surviving is his wife, Fleda Moore of Hazlehurst; two daughters, Jacqueline Lindsey Archambeault (Mark) of Jesup and Diana Jaycee Moore of Tallahassee FL; brothers James Moore (Mary) of Crest Hill, IL Michael Moore (Barbara) of Baxley, George Moore (Nancy) of St. Louis, MO and Chuck Moore (Nikki) of Baxley; one sister, Sarah Moore of Worcester, MA; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Nobles Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Ben Glosson officiating.

Interment will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tallahassee National Cemetery with military honors.

In lieu of flowers the family request for donations be made to the Serenity Hospice Care, 520 Hillcrest Pkwy Dublin, Ga 31021.

All guests are asked to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines.
