Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the death of William Russell George, age 51, who passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Memorial Health in Savannah. He was born in Wichita Falls, TX, on Sheppard AFB, but raised in Brunswick, Georgia. He attended Brunswick High School, Class of 1986. He was a resident of Appling County for the last 3 years. He was a former stock clerk with Wal-Mart. He loved hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth R George and Melba Henry George.
He is survived by his daughter, Carla, 3 grandchildren, older sister Dorothy (Sonny)Taylor, younger sister Racheal George (Ray Davis), several nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
