Mary Frances Prescott Obituary

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the services of Mrs. Mary Frances Carter Prescott, age 72, who passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia.  She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and a member of Westgreen Baptist Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice and Retter Carter, a sister, Louise Rentz and a brother, J.B. Carter.

 

Survivors include her son, Earl Beecher of Appling County; one daughter, Christy Brown of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, Chris Brown, Amber Brown and Carson Brown; one great grandchild, Madden Brown; one brother, L.C. Carter of Cochran; one sister and brother in-law, Lawanda and Donney Boyd of Waynesboro and several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 11am at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Kevin Bounds officiating.

 

Interment will follow in the Omega Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

 

Active Pallbearers will be David Crosby, Richard Bland, Donnie Rentz, Glenn Carter, Ethan Herndon and Chris Spell.

 

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of the Tommy and Shirley Strickland Cancer Center.

The family will be gathering at the home of Donnie and Sharon Rentz at 807 Tippins Street.
