Mr. Roy was always an inspiration to me and my family. He was always smiling when we went in the store, was always anxious to help find anything you needed, you told him your problems and he knew just what you needed to fix the problem. He was an awesome person and will be truly missed by us. Almost every time we went home to Baxley we would stop by to see him and purchase what we needed. Prayers for the entire family.

Although I regret Mr. Roy's passing, I'm thrilled about the fact that he is now in heaven. What greater joy is there than living a full life and achieving the greatest reward? I know that everyone including Mrs Georgia, Tammy, Jeff, Julie, the grandchildren, and extended family will struggle in his loss. However, I would encourage each to remember that Mr Roy lived a full, Christ like life, always helping others.

Like many, I'm an example of his help. I never would have finished college if it wasn't for his kindness, generosity, and encouragement. He always provided work when I was available between semesters, and went out of his way to help. I'll always cherish and remember him as the father of one of my best friends, and a man I can continue to look up to as an example.
