Isaiah 25:8:"He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from all faces." Isn't it comforting to know that one day death will no longer exists! Please go to our website J W. Org to find out how you too can have a part in fulfilling this prophecy.....

We are truly sorry to hear of Jean's passing. It was a joy to meet up with her because she was always happy. She was a very good nurse too an brightened her patients day. Our thoughts and prayers will be with all the family during the coming days.

My heart is heavy but manage a smile as I reflect on the beauty this precious lady bestowed upon all of us. She is my Aunt and I am a better person today for having had her in my life. The simple pleasure of conversations always served as a reminder of what is important in life. I am one of the many fortunate recipients of her hand written letters and never tire of reading them over and over again. She often said the mind is willing but the body is weak. Her wit, rich history and capacity to love is unequaled. LOVE THIS AMAZING WOMAN! She always ended her letters with the same sentiment that I hold dear and have since starting passing along when I pen a note. So until we meet again "hang on and hold on to all that is good and I'll keep praying and pedaling"

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

Scott, Beverly and Family,
I was very sorry to hear about Ms. Jean's passing. I have several fond memories of her. She was my nurse at Appling General when I was giving birth. She was such a good nurse and a comfort to all that she served. Take comfort in knowing she is at rest with our Lord. Please know that you all are in my prayers.
Love,
Esther

CLARK, SCOTT, EMILY, AND FREDERICK: AUNT JEAN HAS BEEN A VITAL PART OF ALL OF OUR LIVES FOR AS LONG AS WE CAN REMEMBER. WE CHERISHED EVERY VISIT WITH HER AND NEVER TIRED OF THE MANY STORIES SHE TOLD AND THE HUNDREDS OF NOTES AND CARDS SHE SENT US . SHE NEVER FAILED TO ENCOURAGE US, EVEN WHEN SHE WAS GOING THROUGH TRIALS HERSELF. NOW SHE CAN FINALLY FIND OUT MOSE'S STORY! SHE HAS LEFT THE FOUR OF YOU HERE AND IS NOW WITH "THE OTHER FOUR" CHILDREN. THERE IS NO ONE ELSE WHO CAN FILL THIS EMPTY PLACE IN OUR HEARTS.

I met cousin Jean when she came to the Walters Family Reunion in Robeson County, NC. In 2007. She was a real gem and I loved hearing all the stories she told me about her dad Radford and Uncle Cant Walters.
I was working on the Walters genealogy and she filled in some missing info I had.
She became dear to my heart and she will be missed by many. I can't wait to see her again.

Aunt Jean was an angel on earth and today she is rejoined with her heavenly family. I am so sad to se her go but I do rejoice that she is surrounded by love both in heaven and on earth. Ed is laughing as she tells her ghost stories and asking her to tell the one about "Don't do nuthin till the black Annie comes. I will miss seeing you coming off your porch with all the dogs running to you and the chicken running every which way! I will miss you sitting in that big chair telling stories about all her children and grand children whom she loved so very much. I will miss seeing her beautiful smiles but will always remember her deep love for the Lord and cherish the knowledge that she is resting peacefully in His arms. My love to all.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of this precious lady. I have known her practically all of my life. She was my mother's best friend for many years and was faithful to visit her until she passed away. I can imagine what joy they will find in each other in heaven. Even after my mother was gone, Jean called me and checked to see how I was doing and sent me the sweetest poems. I know you will miss her laughter and wisdom so much. May God richly bless each of you as you go thru this difficult time.
