I can't even believe that Addie is gone. I have been her Aunt Nikki since she was a toddler. She wanted so much out of life and was on the right path to getting it. All things happen for a reason so I will pray and put it in God's hands to understand why she was taken at such a young age BC my mind can't comprehend it. Lacie even though we have had problems you will always be my sister and you will forever be in my prayers!

To the family, friends, and anyone who knew her...... I was one of the people that tried to save her life. I was first at her side. I tried keeping her still. I tried putting pressure on her face to stop the bleeding. I kept talking to her to keep her awake. I kept telling her I was there to help her until the ambulance got there. I told her she wasn't alone.....I was there and her 2 friends were there. I kept telling her she needed to stay awake. Although she wasn't speaking I feel she heard everything I was saying. I continued to do all I knew to do until first responders showed up. Then I walked away and let them do their job. I walked off and looked back twice.......my heart went out to her and her family. I said a prayer for you all as I drove home. I am a kindergarten teacher that was driving home and witness the incident.....and out of my heart I jumped out my vehicle calling 911 and went straight to her and was working on her as soon as I got to her. I am truly, truly, truly, sorry for all of your loss. I will continue to keep everyone in my prayers. I don't even know her and I grieve over her death. I wish I could of done more for her, but like I said I did all that I was able to do. I pray that Jehovah God gives you all the strength and endurance to cope and deal with this tragedy. To bring you all strength to come together and become closer for each other at this sad time for everyone. My prayers and love go to each and everyone of you!
